Oma’s Wheat Bags
Nothing is more soothing than a wheat bag to warm your feet, soothe your aching shoulders or relieve abdomen pain. Or on a hot summer day, keep yours in the freezer and use it to chill out.
Our Oma loved trying out new things, so when she heard about wheat bags, we were all the happy recipients! She was resourceful and used scraps of fabric she had lying around. I’m channelling her upcycling spirit and using thrift store fabrics for the inner bags. The bags aren’t completely uniform in size and it takes me a lot more time, but it’s also more fun to put them together as it’s more of a puzzle!
